Saba Imtiaz

Saba Imtiaz is a Pakistani author and journalist. She reports on politics, religious movements, culture and human rights. Her work has appeared in the New York Times, the Guardian and the Christian Science Monitor. Her first novel Karachi, You’re Killing Me! was published by Random House India in 2014. Saba was a Carnegie Fellow at the New America Foundation in Washington D.C. in 2014, where she researched and authored a paper on homegrown urban militancy in Pakistan and its impact on U.S.-Pakistan relations. She has previously worked as a reporter and sub-editor for The News and The Express Tribune newspapers in Pakistan, as well as hosted and produced television and radio shows. Saba is currently working on a non-fiction book titled No Team of Angels (First Draft Publishing) about the factors driving the conflict in Karachi. She lives in Karachi, Pakistan.
